1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Favor Hub platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Favor Hub. By registering, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Description of Service
Favor Hub is a community-driven platform that enables users to exchange favors using a points-based system. Users can request favors, offer to help others, and earn points for completed favors. Favor Hub does not employ any service providers and is not a party to any favor exchange between users.
4. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You may not create multiple accounts or transfer your account to another person.
5. Points System
- New users receive starter points upon registration.
- Points are earned by completing favors for other users.
- Points are spent when requesting favors from other users.
- Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, gift cards, or any form of currency.
- Favor Hub reserves the right to adjust point values and balances to maintain platform integrity.
6. Community Standards
This platform operates on a foundation of trust and mutual respect. You agree to communicate honestly, complete claimed favors, provide accurate descriptions, and not engage in harassment, discrimination, or illegal activity.
7. Favor Exchanges
Favor Hub facilitates connections between users but is not responsible for the quality, safety, or completion of any favor. Users engage in favor exchanges at their own risk.
8. Disputes
Users may file disputes for favors that are claimed or in progress. Favor Hub's moderation team will review disputes and may resolve them by refunding points, awarding points, splitting points, or dismissing the dispute. Dispute resolution decisions by Favor Hub moderators are final.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service for commercial purposes, impersonate others, upload malicious content, attempt to access other accounts, reverse engineer the Service, or use automated tools to interact with the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAVR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
11. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app. Favor Hub may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon account deletion, your profile is anonymized but favor records are retained per our Data Retention Policy.
12. Modifications
Favor Hub reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email.
